Hospice care is a form of palliative care focused on comfort care and enhancing quality of life for residents with life limiting conditions. Hospice care includes physical, emotional and spiritual support for residents and their families, often provided in a home-like setting. 

Maison Albert House is a 10-bed residential hospice operated by Hospice SENB. Maison Albert House provides quality, personalized and confidential palliative care for residents and families from across Albert, Kent, and Westmorland counties. 

Maison Albert House is open to referrals from residents or families from residents across Albert, Kent, and Westmorland counties. Residents must meet eligibility criteria including agrees to receive end-of-life care and symptom management, is aware of the diagnosis and prognosis, and has assessed care needs that can adequately be met in the residential hospice environment.

There are no visiting hours at Maison Albert House, as we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we may limit visits per instructed by families and for the well-being of the residents. 

The care received at Maison Albert House is largely free of charge. However, medications and personal hygiene products are the responsibility of the family, but Hospice SENB can be a payor of last resort.
