This is a lovely Lippelsdorf heart trinket box. The white porcelain heart box has a beautiful, colorful bunch of flowers on the cover. It has a beaded porcelain border that is trimmed in told. The base of the box is also decorated with flowers. It has small flower sprays on the sides.
The box measures approximately 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” (7.0cm x 7.0cm.) and about 1” (2.5cm) tall. On the underside of base is marked with a blue crown and “1877 GDR”. Embossed is “222.” This mark dates this piece from 1951 to 1974.
