This is a stunning Gloria fine porcelain serving platter. A rare Bayreuth Love Story pattern.
It was made in Germany. It’s hand painted and signed Fragonard.
These pieces are all made by Gloria Fine Porcelain, manufactured in the 1950’s in West Germany. The pattern is called “Love Story” inspired by the work of artist Jean Honore Fragonard (1732-1806). Fragonard was a French painter of the Rococo style who was popular in the latter half of the 18th Century, around the time of Marie Antoinette, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
13 1/4″ long and 9 1/2″ wide. It is in great condition with no visible chips or cracks
