Description
This is a gorgeous signed vintage replica of a piece from the British Museum made by D. Vassilopoulos. The exact date of creation of this beautiful vase is unknown, but it is estimated to be some time in the 1980’s. This hand painted stunning vase depicts three women at a water well, filling or pouring the jugs of water they are holding.
The handle has adorable hearts going up the handle and cute squiggles surrounding the spout. Underneath the vase, there is handwritten writing that reads “NO 216/D. Girls Fetching Water. 530 B.C. British Museum. Hand Made in Greece By D. Vassilopoulos”
The measurements to this beautiful piece are 11 cm (4.3 inches) tall without the handle, 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall with the handle, and 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) wide at the widest point.
