Description
This is a set of four of the Collectable Holiday Plates by Norman Rockwell. It depicts four different stories of Christmas throughout the years 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993. These are one of a kind decorative plates that includes their unique plate numbers on the back.
The Christmas 1990 plate is named “A Christmas Prayer” and was painted in 1949. It features a boy praying at the end of his bed in his pajamas.
The Christmas 1991 plate is named “Santa’s Helper” and was painted in 1949. It features a trio of friends and a dog chasing and happily helping out the mail man deliver Christmas presents around town.
The Christmas 1992 plate is named “The Christmas Surprise” and was painted in 1949. It features a mother stitching together a Santa Claus suit onto the father as they both look stunned. You can see their son in the doorway through the mirror, shocked as he learns his father is Santa Claus.
The Christmas 1993 plate is named “The Tree Brigade” and was painted in 1950. It features a father and son together with three dogs excitedly following behind. The son is holding an axe, and the father is holding a newly cut Christmas tree.
