This is a Royal Doulton flambe seated fox in great condition. This fox features beautiful red fur tones against a black tail. The animal is seated with its tail curled around its paws. The base is marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp. Doulton’s flambe made its debut at the St Louis exhibition of 1904 and is made with copper oxide to give it a fiery red finish.
