What kind of products do you sell in the online store?
We sell gently used clothing, accessories and home décor and once in a while, new items with tags. As all items in our store are donated by our local community, we handpick items that we believe will appeal to our online shoppers. This could range from clothing for men and women, shoes, jewelry, collectables and purses.
Can I see the products in person?
The online portion of Boutique Hospice Shoppe is run independently of the brick-and-mortar store. Just like any online store such as Amazon or eBay, you cannot try before you buy.
Can I order gift vouchers for use in the store?
Unfortunately Boutique Hospice Shoppe gift vouchers can only be purchased and redeemed in our brick and mortar store.
Purchases
Does the money from the online sales support the services of Hospice SENB?
Yes, all purchases from the online store supports the services of Hospice SENB and the residence. The online store is an extension of Boutique Hospice Shoppe giving our customers a unique way to enjoy shopping from the store in the comfort of their own home.
Is there a charge for shopping in the store?
We charge $1.00 for every purchase, whether you buy one item or twenty. The $1.00 charge goes towards the payment of the paper bag, stickers, paper and cost of printing for every order. As a non-profit, we do not charge this to make a profit, but rather to recoup our expenses. There are no taxes on the purchase in our store.
Do you charge taxes on online purchases?
We do not charge taxes on purchases in-store or online. This is a huge benefit for those who choose at Boutique Hospice Shoppe.
Shipping and Pickup Options
What are the shipping options?
We do offer shipping for your shopping convenience and the cost will be applied to your cart at checkout. All purchases can also be picked up at the store at 164 Collishaw Street in Moncton after midday the following day (not including Sunday). This gives our staff and volunteers enough time to pack your order and have it ready for pickup. You can pick up your order in the store or in the donation area. Make sure you have your order number handy at the time of pickup to avoid delay.
Return Policy
What is the return policy for the store?
Boutique Hospice Shoppe offers a no-return policy due to the unique donor system which is attached to every item. If you do have an issue, we are happy to discuss your unique situation, but we are unable to return items due to incorrect size or colour, as an example. You can email us at shoppe@hospicesenb.ca.
Payment
What payment methods are accepted on the website?
We accept payment by credit card and all items are charged in Canadian dollars at the time of order. There are no taxes on our purchases. We do not accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Do you offer lay-bys?
We do not offer lay-bys. As there is only one of each item, once it is sold to someone, there is no chance to purchase it. All items are removed from our website at the time of purchase.
Do you offer loyalty points on online purchase?
If you present your loyalty card at the time of pickup in-store, we can give you an extra loyalty point on your card which goes towards 25% off in-store purchases.
